Lupe Fiasco - Words I Never Said

Lupe first announced this song in January 10, 2011.
He said this song would drop on February 1, 2011.

And that's exactly what he did. He dropped this song at midnight.

Lupe also stated that this is his favorite song on LASERS.

Personally, I think this song is great.
He knows that he has followers that will listen to his music, so he is using it as a tool to voice out the news that we are ignoring.

We get so caught up in what's new on Jersey Shore, while Egypt recently had all of their internet cut off and there is rioting going on because of it.

This song is decent, I'm not too crazy about it.
Kanye sounds like Wiz in the beginning.
And Jay-Z didn't do too well in my eyes.

But they dropped a free track. And I respect that.

Rockie Fresh: The Otherside

There has been a lot of hype on Rockie's sophmore mixtape, that it was going to be good.
And it didn't live up to the hype.

It was much better than the hype.

The Chicago artist talked about how he has worked his ass off, but he still isn't signed. Surprising, huh? Well, the Otherside is him wanting to take that jump across the fence cause he knows that he can make it.

Personally, my favorite song is "They Don't Understand Why".

I was only disappointed by the hook from the song, The Otherside. But nonetheless, this mixtape was great.
